Life goes by in a flash. It's fragile and delicate. When you're young you think you have all the time in the world. As you get older it's all you can do to slow it down. To be reflective has been rewarding and painful. From birth to death it's really about the dash. How did you live your life?
lyrics
This mad dash
Didn’t go on forever
Gone too fast
What did I learn?
Never restless, hopeless, I recall,
I thought I had time, you see
I was free, I believed
But the many trips around the sun,
Taught me what’s right
And what is wrong.
This mad dash
(running, falling, hiding, flying)
Kept me running in circles
(running, falling, hiding, flying)
Found at last, this life unplanned.
(running, falling, hiding, flying)
There’s a vague reflection I recall
Of watching the clock, deceived
It had stopped for me.
Flying high above without a net
Untethered, unchained
I saw no end.
I have time
I have no time.
